Jews ask pope for Holocaust studies in schools

VATICAN CITY (Reuters) - Israel's religious leaders asked Pope Benedict on Thursday to make Holocaust studies a required subject in Catholic schools, saying it could help combat anti-Semitism in future generations.
The two sides resumed a dialogue that was interrupted by the case of a Holocaust-denying bishop, which brought Catholic-Jewish relations to their lowest point in half a century.
The Israelis also asked that the Vatican take a strong stand against the draft final declaration of next month's U.N. conference on racism, a statement some countries view as hostile to Israel.
"May we suggest for your consideration that the history and the moral import of the Shoah ... become a required subject for inclusion in the curriculum of students at all Catholic schools the world over," Rabbi Shear Yashuv Cohen asked the pope during a meeting at the Vatican, using the Hebrew word for Holocaust.
Cohen, who is chief rabbi of Haifa, said such a move would "reinforce your strong stand against Holocaust denial and declaring anti-Semitism as a sin against God."
Rabbi David Rosen, International Director of Interreligious Affairs for the American Jewish Congress, told reporters afterwards: "I hope a recommendation (from the pope on Holocaust studies in Catholic schools) will come out of this latest crisis. That will be a silver lining to the cloud."
GAS CHAMBERS
The meeting between representatives of Israel's chief Rabbinate and Vatican officials on Wednesday and Thursday was to have taken place last month but was postponed by the Jewish side because of the controversy over Bishop Richard Williamson.
On January 24, Benedict lifted the excommunication of Williamson and three other traditionalist bishops to try to heal a 20-year-old rift that began when they were thrown out of the Church for being ordained without permission. Williamson has said he believed there were no gas chambers and that no more than 300,000 Jews perished in Nazi concentration camps, compared with the figure of 6 million accepted by mainstream historians.
The pope has since made several major declarations to repudiate Williamson's views and condemn anti-Semitism and Holocaust denial.
On Thursday, Vatican officials announced Benedict would pay a visit to Rome's main synagogue in the autumn. "There's no firm date fixed yet," the chief Vatican spokesman, Father Federico Lombardi, told Italian media.
The Jewish delegation also asked the pope to instruct Vatican diplomats to take a strong stand against the current draft of the final statement of the U.N. Conference on Racism due to be held in Geneva April 20-24, known as Durban II.
The Vatican has said it will attend the conference but hoped for a change in the wording of its final declaration. Both Italy and the United States have said they will not attend unless there is a change of wording.

my last history course was about the events that became the "Holocaust" named after that TV series
shortly later. (The series was broadcast on local TV and heavily "discussed" among the students of
my school. I didn't watch the series and did not take part in the "discussions".)
The grades in said course were given exclusively based on what the students actively
said during the lessons. No written tests. I had never experienced such a form of
grading. I thought about nothing but must have felt something is wrong with this course.
The teacher who is still active right now later became a fierce zioActivist.
Those who said something against his opinions got the worst grade.
I said nothing at all and got the second worst grade.
Afterwards I stopped having history courses. The state zog
noticed that possibility and since short after that it became
impossible to stop having courses in zioHistory.
That cross hanging on the wall of each class room.

I'm studying the holocaust whenever I have a chance.
Tens of millions of native Americans were slaughtered.
Tens of millions of Africans at the hands of European imperialists.
A million Iraqi children were murdered by the USA from 1991 to 2002.
As for the alleged holocaust in Germany, that is not logical. Gas chambers are an ineffective means of mass killing, and the inmates surly would have risen up in revolt if they were systematically being killed. Most of those who died probably died from disease.

The 2004 (or was in 2005?) Broadcasting Act at made the BBC licence fee a tax.
The 2006 or was it 2007? Act on "Glorifying Terrorism"
The latest (2009) legislation relating to government requirements to know about UK citizens about travelling abroad.
I'm no lawyesr... I'm sure a legal expert could provide a very long list of legislation that has been passed since Blair was elected in 1997. And as Blair's party has such a large majority there is very little that can be done to stop them... as Craig Murray says.... Is this Democracy?

In the UK, talk of revising the 6 million total was 2cleverly" managed by calling it the work of the extreme right. Unfortunately, those in extreme right-wing parties did include it in their literature, which seemed to some (including me at the time) to prove the point.

The catholic church (Vatican) IMPOSED IGNORANCE DURING THE ENTIRE MIDDLE AGES! This is why this period is also known as DARK AGE or OBSCURANTISM! We should never forget what those secular thinkers and masons did for us, to help us think and seek the truth (well until Weishaupt screwed all that).
Only the clergy, and not all of them, have the right and access to education. THERE WERE NO SCHOOLS just for those living in convents. The nobility has their private tutors but for most part they were also ignorant. Thus the church men were able to read and write and they screwed everybody else until they got competitions from the jews that also knew how to read and write and in more than one language. This cultural crime came after the glorious GREEK GOLDEN AGE! This also explains WHY PAGANISM WAS THE ENEMY OF THE CHURCH as they were too smart to swallow christian legends! No offence to believers; just facts!
But people stupidity has no end. In a way I was lucky to be educated in Protestant, then in Catholic and then Secular-Masonic schools. The worst education by far was the catholic and the best the secular-masonic! The Protestant did not include any rituals, they did not push for any shit, they were just great and also with very good standards.
As a growing up child it did not escape to my mind the stupidity and mediocrity by changing schools not because I was a bad student but because the family moved. I was able to appreciate different worlds at early age.

As to fooling the people, I believe that this was a quote from Abraham Lincoln. As far as Bishop Williamson is concerned, I believe that Pope Benedict merely smacked him on the wrist while grinning at him. Everything all over is beginning to work against the Jews.

There may be optimism about rejection of Zionism, but the situation in the UK is now very serious. The excellent debate currently raging on Craig Murray's website cuts to the heart of the matter - the Zionists helped to fund New labour and get them elected. They then put pressure on them to act in Israel's interests.
When the weak people who ran New Labour did their bidding (e.g. getting evidence to support invading Iraq with the assistance of torture) they really were in control. I can't agree with you there. There may be some gays in the church and right now they are pushing their agenda for everything they've got. Remeber though, the Jews are the biggest gay pushers. Just look at Hollywood and the movies which they control. And some of them have even practiced this sort of sick thing on the little Jewish boys in their school. Sick is right.
