The West babbles on, and Assad is the winner

"Goran Tomasevic, the award-winning Reuters photographer, filed a brilliant dispatch from Damascus only last week. “Rebel fighters in Damascus are disciplined, skilled and brave,” he wrote. “I saw them … mount complex mass attacks, manage logistics, treat their wounded – and die before my eyes. I sniff treachery. Because – let’s be frank about it – something is going very wrong with the narrative of the Syrian war. Our Western lords and masters – as untrustworthy today as they were when they sold Poland to Stalin at Yalta – have started to talk much less about their visceral desire to destroy Bashar al-Assad and much more about their fear of the corrosive presence of al-Qa’ida within the rebel forces fighting to remove the Syrian president. As the Syrian tragedy deepens, so our moral Western policy towards the damned of this ghastly war has turned into a betrayal of its people.
Forget about Rome this week and our “pledge” – I love this news agency gunk – “to empower (sic) the Syrian people” and support the “supreme military command” (which does not exist) of the Free Syrian Army with bandages and radios. The whole sorry story began, I think, exactly a year ago when La Clinton – mercifully now absent from US policymaking until the next presidential elections – made an astonishingly cruel statement to CBS television in Rabat. Squeaking about the refusal of the Syrians of Damascus and Aleppo to join in the uprising against Assad, she then – apparently referring to a recent statement by Ayman al-Zawahiri, the post-Bin Laden al-Qa’ida leader, in which he said he supported the Syrian opposition – asked: “Are we supporting al-Qaida in Syria? Are we supporting Hamas in Syria?”
Duplicity
Infinitely more frightful was the pitiful version of Lord Palmerston who now masquerades as our foreign secretary and who – just before he arrived in Beirut to truffle through potential oil discoveries off the Lebanese coast – gave a speech to the Royal United Services Institute which positively reeked of Potsdam-like duplicity. While claiming that Britain had not lost faith in the Arab revolutions – Churchill said as much about his fidelity to Poland after handing the country to Stalin – William Hague said that Syria was the most serious case of a revolt being “hijacked” by militants. The country, he claimed, was “the No 1 destination for jihadists anywhere in the world today”.Incredible. This might almost have been a speech by Bashar al-Assad himself, who has been repeating this for almost two years about “al-Qa’ida terrorists” in Syria. Even putting aside the fact that Mali was supposed to have assumed the mantle of “terror centre” less than two months ago, this was an extraordinary statement for the pitiful Hague to make.He babbled on about UK and other European extremists in Syria, then added: “They may not pose a threat to us when they first go to Syria, but if they survive, some may return ideologically hardened and with experience of weapons and explosives. The longer the conflict continues (in Syria), the greater this danger will become.”Ergo, I suspect, let’s bring this war to a close. Why else are Hague and Lavrov now talking about “dialogue” between rebels and regime? But the most recent reports from rebel-held Syrian territory do indeed speak of looting and sectarian kidnappings and killing, ransom and retribution, of what one report from Atme – a rebel base on the border with Turkey – speaks of as a “beautiful” revolt marred by corruption. “The real revolution in Syria is over. We have been betrayed,” Abu Mohamed (described by Agence France-Presse as a “respected rebel leader”) has said. There are countless accounts even from government-held parts of Damascus, of hostage-taking for both cash and political demands. The injection of Jabhat al-Nusra fighters and other proto-jihadis has fouled the secular nature of the battle so badly that Assad’s original claims that al-Qa’ida was the regime’s enemy is beginning to look frighteningly true. There have been battles between the Free Syrian Army and al-Nusra and between al-Nusra’s own commandoes.
West in retreat
Arab journalists who loathe Assad have been all too aware of this, not least since al-Nusra apparently claimed responsibility for a car bomb in Salamieh which killed dozens of civilians. “This movement with its criminal terrorist methods and doubtful patriotism must not be allowed inside the revolution,” Hazem Saghieh wrote in Al-Hayat. “It closes the doors on the foreign nations which could help the revolution. It turns away from the revolution the Syrian minorities – Alawite, Kurd, Christian Druze and Ismaeli – as well as those among the Sunnis who believe in a civil state.” Too true.Goran Tomasevic, the award-winning Reuters photographer, filed a brilliant dispatch from Damascus only last week. “Rebel fighters in Damascus are disciplined, skilled and brave,” he wrote. “I saw them … mount complex mass attacks, manage logistics, treat their wounded – and die before my eyes. But as constant, punishingly accurate mortar, tank and sniper fire attest, President Bashar Assad’s soldiers on the other side … are also well drilled, courageous – and much better armed.”And there you have it. Both sides still think they can win – so the war goes on. Butthe West is in retreat. Forget support for the rebels. Even the gutless Obama has stood up to his generals and forbidden them not to arm the good guys/bad guys. Wait now for some Yalta-like bleating for talks between Assad and his enemies. “So terrible is the bloodshed that even our hatred of Assad must take second place to common humanity”; wouldn’t that do as a template for Palmerston-Hague?And at the risk of being proved wrong in just weeks, I must add a small addendum. I came across a ferociously anti-Assad friend in Beirut last week. “He might survive, I think,” she said. Indeed.

It has been a while since a decent article made it to the "hot news" thread. Though I'm not sure what the title indicates...is that bulov? All bulov needs to do is put his opinion/heading/annotations in the comments section, and just keep the title of the article as the heading (his article submissions which form the majority of this site now are getting worse and worse).
anyways...
>>>The injection of Jabhat al-Nusra fighters and other proto-jihadis has fouled the secular nature of the battle so badly that Assad’s original claims that al-Qa’ida was the regime’s enemy is beginning to look frighteningly true. There have been battles between the Free Syrian Army and al-Nusra and between al-Nusra’s own commandoes>>>
There will be no revolution or success in Syria until every last inch of the pride of nationalism is removed.
This is Iraq all over again. The secularists from within the FSA will have no problem joining with Syria's own version of the "awakening councils" once Assad is removed.
>>>Rebel fighters in Damascus are disciplined, skilled and brave>>>
now that runs contrary to the prevailing opinion on here.
>>>It turns away from the revolution the Syrian minorities – Alawite, Kurd, Christian Druze and Ismaeli>>>
No, those groups support the regime because that regime (a secular dictatorship) empowered them. The last thing they want is a civil state representative of the majority.

This is a American Puppet Nuri Al Maliki installed with the help of Iran. Now America doesn't help Bashar Al-Qaeda and supposedly helping the Syrian opposition but their lackey Nuri AL Lackey does. So America is covertly helping Assad. The American Neocons are the Russian Jew and 94% Israeli are also ethnically Russia and speaks Russian too. Nuri Al Lackey is slowly inclined towards Russia which was desirable by the Neocons after using American Military as a canon fodder.
Now if Europe can overcome the Zionist influence then it is possible that the Mujaheddin will be asked for a truce by the Romans to attack Iran and Russia. But America has deep routed Zionist influence so its not possible for America to come out of it. They might join the war with Europe in invading Russia and Iran but those neocons will covertly be helping the Iranian regime and the Russian regime.
We have seen this trend in two occasion , during Iran Iraq war USA secretly supplying weapons via Israel or Israel was smuggling weapons from USA and supplying it to Iran.President Ronald Reagan himself was involved when outwardly branded Khomeini as a maniac! We can put this in both ways. And again during the Afghan Soviet war US Zionist covertly helped the Russian but the European did helped the Mujaheddin which was also backed by the Vatican as both party had their common enemy the communist who oppose all religion.
According to the prophesy the Romans and the Muslims will attack the Turks(Very likely the Russians) and then attack Al Kufa (A shia city in Iraq) and Persia. But after the truce the Romans will break the treaty and gather 80 banners with 10-12000 solders under each banner and fight the Muslims after invading Syria. This is called Al Malhama Al Kubra(The Great battle against the Romans) and the venue is Syria.

Written Aug 2012. 100% correct in all predictions...
During WW1, the Germans soon realised that they were in a war of attrition. The side that could kill the most of their enemy would win. So they devised a cunning plan! They feigned an attempted break-through in the French sector at Verdun. But their true aim was to seize a site that was sacred to French pride, knowing that local geography, heavy artillery, and the machine gun would demand a high price in French lives in any effort to retake it. The strategy was called “The Mincer”. There were hundreds of thousands of casualties, the army mutinied – it almost worked!
Now fast-forward to 2012. After their victories in Iraq, Afghanistan and Libya, the Sunni fundamentalists are on a roll! Who will be their next target? Russia in the Caucasus and Central Asia? China in Xinxiang? The world oil supply in the Gulf? French colonies in North Africa? Or Israel itself! The Sunni are a threat to many, including their own rulers. Their fighters must now know that Allah is on THEIR side. How is the world to eliminate this threat?
The greatest problem is that the Sunni resistance have so far refused open battle against superior military forces. Instead they opt for insurgency, conserving their resources, and using them wisely. How are they to be beaten? The plan is to trick them! Offer them a prize they cannot refuse! Tempt them into fighting a set-piece battle that they think they CAN win! Then slaughter as many of their fighters as possible.
Syria is the bait! The fall of Syria would give them a country, a front-line against Israel, and weaken Iran. It could lead to a broader Sunni/Shia war that eliminates their Saudi/GCC leaders, and Turkey. It may even cause WW3, in which their infidel enemies, the US, Russia, and China eliminate each other! The Syrian campaign offers the Sunni resistance opportunities that are almost too good to be true. And that’s because it is! The Sunni have taken the bait and accepted a fixed battle which pits their lightly armed fighters against a heavily armed and motivated Syrian army. They believe that a distracted NATO will support them with airstrikes, as they did in Libya. It is a trap! They will be killed in their tens of thousands, whilst they wait in vain for NATO air-support. This is the Syrian Mincer!
The Russians are “in” on this ruse! Their UN veto will be used as the excuse the US needs to keep their promised air-support grounded! Russia will keep the Syrians supplied with the weapons needed to kill the Sunni. And the poor Syrians will thank them, unaware that the Russian “stray dog” has chosen their country as the killing ground.
The disputes between Russia and the US are an elaborate part of this fraud! They collude together in Afghanistan, train together in Arizona, but claim to be on the verge of WW3 in Syria! The threat of an Israeli attack on Iran is also a fraud, to make-believe that the Zionist priorities have changed. There are no Iranian nukes, and any strike by a weakened US will lead to disaster! Even their advisors admit to this. It’s all a fake, part of the plan to de-fang a rampant Sunni, who are the real threat to the Old World Order.
So sit back and watch The Mincer at work! There will be no grand “false-flag” attack to justify an attack on Iran, no NATO airstrikes on Syria, only the maintenance of the promise of one, and no WW3! Nothing must be allowed to stop The Mincer from doing its work…eliminating the Sunni “hot-heads” in their jihad! Remember: “By deception, shall we make war!” – MOSSAD!

@cosmo
syria was never a threat to zion. they were the gatekeepers for zion, and gave up the golan heights...preferring to establish a secular state ruled by a minority dictatorship.
the ONLY threat to zion is an ideology that is transnational - something nationalism is not and something baathism has failed to be. Israel is right now preparing for how they will confront an eventual, Sunni guerrilla resistance movement across the entire region. hezbullah is isolated, and America is acting as a buffer between it and Iran.
@bulov
the link i gave is pretty clear as to what the real numbers are. moreover, you are talking about the small, tiny christian minority - which saddam actually empowered (he gave christians positions in his government). if i were a christian in Iraq, i would get out as well, as my co-religionists from the west are destroying a country (in Iraq) that they created (by several decades before via sykes-pickot).
anyways, don't pretend that the Kurds aren't Sunni - I know you wish deep down inside that was the case, as you have the same mentality as most Jews (which is one of ethnic pride and separatism).

oh, and I forgot to add - when you talk about the christians being displaced as a result of their fellow Christians attacking and destroying Iraq...
do not forget (in these numerical calculations), that most of the 2 million + Iraqis that have died over the last few decades...were Sunni. sites like britannica and the cia website (as you referred to in the other thread) don't even acknowledge the genocide/infanticide that went on in Iraq as a result of US/UN sanctions and bombing runs.

>>>America is covertly helping Assad>>>
VERY TRUE
>>>Now if Europe can overcome the Zionist influence then it is possible that the Mujaheddin will be asked for a truce by the Romans to attack Iran and Russia>>>
what? there will be no truce between the west and Islam, as the west is the biggest enemy of the Muslims (even more so than russia and the shia). secondly, the US/Europe only want to contain Russia in so far as it suits their interests, but protecting Israel and gaining access to cheap natural resources in the Muslim world is of much greater interest to them than Russia and so forth As we have seen recently (and per the mincer)...Russia is on the same side as Rome. That isn't likely to change.
Hypothetically, if Europe could rid itself of zionist influence, it would probably only happen after a further economic collapse (and this would entail defeat in the Muslim world as we are seeing in Afghanistan and insha'Allah, will see soon in Mali and the rest of Africa). We saw what ridding itself of Jewish power and subsequent economic disaster did to Germany. This time though, they may choose the Muslims to be their scapegoat, and Europe has already been responsible for two genocides against the Muslims on their lands...Spain and Bosnia. Europe would probably (in this hypothetical scenario) just fold back and end its interference in other parts of the world, while falling into internal conflict (but Allah knows best).
>>>We have seen this trend in two occasion , during Iran Iraq war USA secretly supplying weapons via Israel or Israel was smuggling weapons from USA and supplying it to Iran>>>
absolutely. But - they were doing this to both sides in order to contain both sides. they wanted both sides to destroy one another. surely you don't think that the US/Israel wanted a shia revolution to spread across the Muslim world (and given how small the shia are numerically, that would not have even been possible). the US believed that Iran and Iraq would destroy one another...but that didn't happen, both recovered, and both became a threat to Israel. the same blowback occurred in Afghanistan and Libya. thus, most experts concur that Syria will have a similar type of blowback.
Western political leaders don't listen to their own scholars and experts...they are in power because of those who finance them, and so their ultimate loyalty and policy decisions are based on that rather than what is right or what is the best policy for their own national interests. This is the product of the "enlightened", capitalistic democracy that adrian mentioned in the last hot news thread.
>>>According to the prophesy the Romans and the Muslims will attack the Turks(Very likely the Russians) and then attack Al Kufa (A shia city in Iraq) and Persia>>>
don't become like Imran Hossein. do not think you know what is going to happen in the future to this extent (and this far out - particularly when it goes against all the trends we are witnessing today). This mentality ruined the likes of Imran Hossein and others. The prophecies from ahadith give us a general guideline as to what is going to happen, and even then, one should be a scholar before conveying those general guidelines except for that which become obvious. the dajjal is obvious and we don't need to refer to scholars to know this - it is already well known. the role of women in society, from dancing and being barely clothed and the spread of music - these are prophecies that have already come to pass, so we can talk about them without reference to scholars. but beyond that, we don't know what is going to happen in the future (particularly that far out).
Right now, the Turks are among the closest of allies to the Romans. Turkey is the only Muslim country that is a member of NATO. their government and military are filled with freemasons and those supportive of Israel. if anything, it is they who have a truce with Rome to fight the Mujahideen.
and the ahadith you quote regarding this truce with Rome may not be authentic, and other translations of those same ahadith say that the Muslims will have a truce with Constantinople (i.e. the Turks) and Rome < that is much more realistic based on current events. if you want to talk about what might happen hundreds of years from now, only God knows such things (and we won't be held to account for that).
and Allah knows best

I have mentioned the destruction of this site by bulov and totally agree with your comment below.
I have given up on editing Iraqwar as it became obvious that the other two editors also wanted the destruction of the site and so did several readers and posters.
From being the top URL in my list for news, Iraqwar has fallen to 5th in just over two years.
That means as a news searcher and producer I search 4 other sites before going to Iraqwar to see what's here.
This is mostly thanks to the fucken crap that bulov posts and the totally butchered headlines he writes.
This is no longer a reliable news source but a biased propaganda site run by fools.
I attempted to keep it straight by limiting the crap and arguing that was happening here but editors like Tet who should know better and Zoraida who's english is not good enough to edit the crap out Iraqwar has gone to the pack and become a joke on the WWW.
Some uses claim that "Freedom of Speech" is a primary right of breathing but I do not.
Americans (such as Tet) believe in total freedom of Speech and that has caused this wonderful debate site to degrade to a fucken joke in a very short time.
Zionist must be laughing their fucken tits off at how this once "major news site" had crumbled.
You all should be emailing the manager at """hexen ""at"" mirror - world. ru""" to voice your disgust but I'm betting none of you ever will.
The uses of Iraqwar here want to be deceived by the likes of Sealion, Syrian and several others un-named but will show up after my post.
The present uses of this site like the bullshit headlines and biased propaganda displayed here on a daily basis.
That's why each time I've tried to clean it up you lot shoot me down ... well good fucken luck to you, keep on with your joke news website you are getting exactly what you deserve.
I drop in every 2 or 3 days to see if anything is worth searching out but have used nothing from this site in my own news supply in the last 12 months ... because of the crap content posted here.

the reason the Mujahideen are the best chance to save Palestine is because they do not have anything to lose. death is a victory for them. they do not hold ground, nor do they have any infrastructure that can be targeted by Israel's weapons of mass destruction. they are not bound by the self-imposed limitations of nationalism and the national interest. that is from the practical standpoint. the spiritual reason is of course, because they are upon Tawhid - pure Monotheism. The Most High will help those who are upon the truth and who do not compromise on the truth, no matter how weak they appear in comparison to their enemies (and we have witnessed this for many decades now).

The rift is apparent which is happening due to the resources interest. America spend about 4 trillion dollar in Iraq Afghan war and would like to get some return. Europe also participated and those 67+ countries wish to have some share of the booty. But the Lackeys seems double crossing as Nuri now buy arms from Russia , giving some oil exploration contract to Russia over the American oil company. This was well orchestrated plan by the Russian Jews(the Neocons in America) and now they can only expect a repercussion.
Russia also helped in the war on terra but didnt really invest much resources. Now the Zionist Neocons in America are silent and possibly having a belly laugh too. But those who invested much are not happy. Thats why we see a clear division in USEuropean foreign policy whether they should arm the Syrian Mujaheddin or Not.For the Zionist their mission has accomplished in Iraq,Afghanistan ,Libya.
The occupation need helpers and it is positive to chose them from the minority who are willing to help. Iraqi shias are the majority and thats why they chose Saddam Hosein although more than half of his cabinet in the baath party was shia and Baath party both Iraq and Syria are backed by the Shia regime of Iran.Saddam was not obedient so they removed him. It turned out to be a precise victory for the Zionist controlling the US government.
As Israeli Defense Minister Ariel Sharon told the Washington Post in May 1982, justifying Israeli arms sales to Tehran, "Iraq is Israel's enemy and we hope that diplomatic relations between us and Iran will be renewed as in the past." Four months later he told a Paris press conference, "Israel has a vital interest in the continuing of the war in the Persian Gulf, and in Iran's victory ." Such views were not Sharon's alone; Prime Ministers Itzhak Shamir (Likud) and Shimon Peres (Labor) shared them too.
So when the European and the Roman faction of American are deprived from the oil pie then they have to do it all over again so we might see a new " shock and Awe" on Iran Iraq and on Russia. To attack Russia directly will spark a huge war but a covert operation through the Mujaheddin of Afghanistan, Chechnya,Syria,Iraq,Libya etc can be very effective as all these Mujaheddin are already pissed off by the bossing around of the Iranian regime with the help of US zionist and the Russian Jew. So we can expect a Truce between the Romans and the Muslims and together they attack their common enemy. In Arabic Truce/Treaty is call HUDNA. Once this war is over the Romans will treacherously betray the Muslims and attack them under 80 banners with e number of 10-12000 solders under each banner. The venue of this war is in Syria when the Romans will invade Syria.

A truce in Arabic is HUDNA which was exactly used in the hadis between the Roman and the Nuslim Truce. This is not alliance. Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) made truce with the Christians and The Jews. When you have a common enemy to attack then if your biggest enemy has the same goal to attack your enemy then there is no problem to make a truce. A simple common sense can be used to understand this. We have found this in the hadis including Bukhari. The hadis in the Bukhari is in a shot version but other sources give more details. Your version of Islam resembels to the fake Islamic group call "Hezbuttahrir" who dont believe in the existance of Dajjal but believe in Shia 12 Imam and want to restore Khelafa at the same time. These people reject the hadis too. If we dig a bit deep then we find them coming from the sufi/Shia route. One of your Al-qaeda idol Iman Al Zawaheri (SOB) is one of them.

You blame Saddam of making the mistake of cooperating with America, but Iran has cooperated far more times with America than Saddam ever did.
In the 1980s Iran not only received arms from America (Iran-Contra) but also from Israel. Saddam actually received more arms from Russia in the 1980s than from America. America attacked Iraq twice after that. Iran was never attacked, in fact the opposite: Iran OPENLY HELPED America in their INVASION of Afghanistan and then Iran helped America in their invasion of Iraq in 2003. Iran also helped the Libyan rat rebels in 2011 AND is friendly with the Mursi's Muslim Brotherhood in Egypt. The Muslim Brotherhood are the Syrian rebels, and Hamas is the Muslim Brotherhood in Palestine. But Iran supports Mursi and Hamas, even though Hamas and Mursi is AGAINST Assad!!!

Here is proof of the Western media (mainly BBC) helping Khomeini just like the Western media (and Qatar's Al Jazeera which is run by BBC) did during the Arab Spring last two years:
"Up until his exile from Iran in 1964, Khomeini was based at the religious city of Qom, where, according to Radio Free Iran, as reported by Dr. Coleman, a former British Intelligence agent, he received a “monthly stipend from the British, and he is in constant contact with his masters, the British.”27 Khomeini was kicked out of Iran and settled in Iraq. He lived there for a number of years until he was arrested by the Iraqi government and deported in 1978. French President D’Estang was then pressured to offer Khomeini refuge in France. Khomeini’s stay in France was financed by Francois Genoud.28 As Coleman writes, “Once Khomeini was installed at the Chateau Neauphle, he began to receive a constant stream of visitors, many of them from the BBC, the CIA and British intelligence.”29
The BBC then became the Ayatollah’s main promoter. Dr. Coleman writes:
It was the BBC, which prepared and distributed to the mullahs in Iran all of the cassette tapes of Khomeini’s speeches, which inflamed the peasants. Then, the BBC began to beam accounts of torture by the Shah’s SAVAK to all corners of the world. In September and October 1978, the BBC began to beam Khomeini’s revolutionary ravings directly to Iran in Farsi. The Washington Post said, “the BBC is Iran’s public enemy number one.”30
Soon a large segment of the Iranian population, most of them young students, became opposed to the Shah, and were convinced that a return to “pure” Shiah Islam, under the Ayatollah Khomeini’s leadership, was the only way to save their country. The Carter Administration, manipulated by Zbigniew Brzezinski, then collaborated with the British to topple the Shah and install Khomeini. In 1980, in accordance with the Nihilist philosophy he was serving, Khomeini proclaimed to the people of Iran, “destroy, destroy, destroy. There cannot be enough destruction.”31 In his memoirs, looking back on the events that removed him from power, the Shah lamented, “I did not know it then, perhaps I did not want to know - but it is clear to me now, the Americans wanted me out.”32"

It is publicly known that most editors working at Al-Jazeera are from BBC. Now COMPARE the role of the BBC from what BBC did during the 1979 Iranian revolution, to what BBC-controlled Al Jazeera did during the Arab Spring AND SEE THE SIMILARITIES:
The BBC then became the Ayatollah’s main promoter. Dr. Coleman writes:
It was the BBC, which prepared and distributed to the mullahs in Iran all of the cassette tapes of Khomeini’s speeches, which inflamed the peasants. Then, the BBC began to beam accounts of torture by the Shah’s SAVAK to all corners of the world. At the same time Amnesty International was continuing its intense campaign against the Shah's government, accusing it of torture and other terrible human rights abuses. The international press picked up on this theme and carried it around the world.
The BBC then became the Ayatollah's main promoter. Dr. Coleman writes, "It was the BBC, which prepared and distributed to the mullahs in Iran all of the cassette tapes of Khomeini's speeches, which inflamed the peasants. Then the BBC began to beam accounts of torture by the Shah's SAVAK to all corners of the world... In September and October 1978 the BBC began to beam Khomeini's inflammatory ravings direct to Iran in Farsi. The Washington Post said, 'the BBC is Iran's public enemy number one.'"
The BBC Persian Service came to be nicknamed in Iran the "Ayatollah BBC" for its non-stop coverage of everything that Khomeini wanted to say (12). Soon a large segment of the Iranian public, most of them impressionable young students, became convinced that the Shah truly was evil and that a return to pure shi'ite Islam under the Ayatollah's leadership was the only way to save their country. The Carter Administration, manipulated by British lackey Zbigniew Brzezinski, then collaborated with the British to topple the Shah and install Khomeini.
Dr. Coleman relates that Carter appointed Trilateralist George Ball to head a commission on U.S. policy in the Persian Gulf. Ball's recommendation was that the U.S. should withdraw its support for the Shah's regime. Dr. Coleman quotes from the Shah's own memoirs to confirm the American stance, the reality that is contrary to the mass-marketed Establishment line that the U.S. supported the Shah to the end,
"I did not know it then, perhaps I did not want to know - but it is clear to me now, the Americans wanted me out. What was I to make of the sudden appointment of Ball to the White House as an advisor to Iran? I knew that Ball was no friend of Iran. I understood that Ball was working on a special report on Iran. But no one ever informed me what areas the report was to cover, let alone its conclusions. I read them months later when I was in exile, and my worst fears were confirmed. Ball was among those Americans who wanted to abandon me, and ultimately my country."

Jaber bin Samra based on Nafi bin Otba reports that the Prophet (peace be upon him) said: " ...You will marsh against (or attack) the Arabian Peninsula and Allah will open (conquer) it, then Persia and Allah will open (conquer) it. Then, you will marsh against (attack) the Romans' land and Allah will open (or conquer) it. Then, you will marsh against (attack) the Dajjal (Anti-Christ) (or Dajjal's land), and Allah will open (conquer) it." Then, Nafi said (to Jaber): "O' Jaber, we will not see the Dajjal emerge until the Romans' land has been conquered (by Allah for the Muslims)." (Sahih Muslim and Ibn Majah)
The Messenger of Allah (Peace be upon him) said: "Even if but a single day remains in this world, Allah will certainly prolong that day so that one from my family (Al Mahdi) can take possession of Mount (or the land of) Daylam (in Iran) and the city of Constantinople (Istanbul)." (Al-Burhan fi Alamat al-Mahdi Akhir al-Zaman, p. 74 and Death-Doomsday-The Hereafter and the Portents of the End Times, p. 440)
Al-Mahdi will conquer Constantinople and Mount Daylam (in Iran).
(Al-Haythami's Al-Qawl al-Mukhtasar fi Alamat al-Mahdi al- Muntazar, p. 27)
Dailamites
The Daylamites or Dailamites were an Iranian people inhabiting the mountainous regions of northern Iran on the southern shore of the Caspian Sea. They were employed as soldiers from the time of the Sassanid Empire, and long resisted the Arab conquest of Iran and subsequent Islamization. In the 930s, the Dailami Buyid dynasty emerged and managed to gain control over much of modern-day Iran, which it held until the coming of the Seljuk Turks in the mid-11th century.

Awf bin Malik Al-Ashja'ee said that the Messenger of Allah (Peace be upon him) during the Battle of Tabuk said to him: "....There will be Hudna (turce) between you and Bani Al-Asfar (refers to the Romans). Then, they will deceive you (break the truce) and will march against you under eighty banners and each banner will have ten thousand (soldiers)." (Bukhari, Ibn Majah)
Zu Mukhammar said I heard the Messenger of Allah(Peace be upon him) say, " You will make a Hudna (Truce Agreement) with the Romans, and together you and them will invade an enemy (located) behind you. You will be victorious, take much booty, and you will leave. Then, you will camp on a hilly pasture. When one of the Romans will approach (the Muslim army), raise a cross and says "The Cross has won", one of the Muslims will get angry and take off the Cross. Then, the Romans will trick (bluff or deceive) you, and gather (prepare) for the Malhama (War). They will gather an army against you and come against you with eighty banners, each banner followed by 10,000 (or 12,000) men." (Ahmad, Abu Dawud, and Ibn Majah)
Abdullah bin Masud said that the Prophet Muhammad(peace be upon him) said: " Between the Muslims and the Romans, there will be a Hudna (truce) and reconciliation treaty to the extent that they will fight together against their enemy (probably Russia) and they (Muslims & Romans) will split the war acquisitions. Then, the Romans with the Muslims will invade Persia (Iran)." (Nuaim ibn Hammad's Kitab al-Fitan)

Hakeem Ibn Umair said: "...then the Romans will request a pact, and in this pact is Al-Kufa's destruction....."(Nuaim bin Hammad, Kitab al-Fitan, p. 268)
NOTE: Al-Kufa is a major Shia city in Iraq.
Ka'b said: "...You will enter into a reconciliation treaty with them for 10 years... You and the Romans will invade an enemy (located) behind Constantinople. When you return for that invasion, you will see Constantinople... Then, you and they will invade Al-Kufa (Shia city in Iraq) and cause devastation to it ... Then, you and the Romans together will invade some of the people of the East (probably Iran and Russia)..." (Nuaim ibn Hammad's Kitab al-Fitan)
Yunus bin Saif Al-Khulani said: " You will reconcile with the Romans through a reconciliation treaty. Then, together, you will invade the (lands of the) Turks (possibly Russia) and Kerman (a region currently in Iran)and Allah will conquer them for you..." (Nuaim ibn Hammad's Kitab al-Fitan)
Abu Umamah says that Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: " There will be four Hudna (truces) between you and the Romans. The fourth (truce) will be mediated through a person who will be from the descendants of (Prophet) Aaron (peace be upon him) (or " from the descendants of Heracles "according to Nuaim bin Hammad) and will be upheld for seven years. The people asked: 'O Messenger of Allah , who will be the Imam of the people at the time? ' He said: '( Nuaim bin Hammad mentions 'The Mahdi ') He will be from my progeny and will be forty years of age. His face will be a shining star and he will have a small black spot on his right cheek. He will wear two Qutwaaniataan cloaks as if he is a man from the Israelite. He will reign for 20 years, extract the treasures, and conquer the cities of Shirk (Polytheism)." (Tabrani, Nuaim bin Hammad'sKitab Al-Fitan)
NOTE:Heracles was the Roman(Byzantine) emperor in Syria.
Qutwaaniataan cloaks: The Afghan Pustuns wear this type of clothing.
Abu Firas said he heard Abdullah bin Amr ibn Al-'Aas say: " You will confront Constantinople (meaning the Romans) three times. In the first confrontation, you will do well. In the second one, you (after defeating the Romans) will enter into a reconciliation treaty with them to the extent that the Muslims will build a mosque in it ( Constantinople) and invade (together with the Romans) an enemy located behind Constantinople and then you will return (after that invasion) to Constantinople. In the third (confrontation), Allah will open it (Constantinople) for you when you (Muslims) say Takbir (Allah Akbar, meaning Allah is Greater) . One third of it (Constantinople) will be destroyed. Allah will burn one third of it. You will divide among you the wealth found in the remaining third." (Nuaim bin Hammad's Kitab al-Fitan)
NOTE: The latest move of Iraqi Puppet Nuri Al Maliki towards Russia and Irans aggrasion towards Syria Lebanon will seriously hurt the interest of the Romans plus on top Iran and the Syrian regime will be attacking Saudi Arabia according to other hadis and this situation will force the Romans to shift their policy. This is the reason after two years of Syrian uprising the Romans are yet to decide whether to arm the Mujaheddin or not and at the same time imposed an arms embargo on Syria allowing only Russia and Iran to supply.
Romans are like a "double edged sword" and if their interest is hurt they can shift their stance with a 180 degree angle.

@ozzy
i agree with you that Iran considers Syria a conquered territory.
but what you have left out in all this analysis was what existed before the revolutions. the west already had what they wanted, and a very close ally in ben ali (tunisia), hosni mubarak (egypt), and reza shah (iran). the revolutions went against their interest, but they were quick to adjust and make deals with the new powers (thereby, giving up some of their control in order to preserve their control over other areas - particularly the gcc).
The GCC is the real prize.
why do you believe that western, secular dictators are somehow good, or independent from the very forces that you are accusing as being behind the current arab spring? i'll give you a more detailed response a bit later.
@parasites
i only skimmed over your posts. i'll read them later and give you a more concise response. what i will say is that the way you act sometimes leads me to believe that you might be under some sort of djinn possession or black magic influence. your assumptions and conspiracy theories are most certainly unislamic. secondly, the ahadith you are bringing are not from the main books of sahih ahadith (bukhari, muslim, tirmidi), and this might be the real problem here. lastly, if you really step back and stop trying to play the role of fortune teller, you would see that even if every hadith that you brought was authentic, even then, the events described might be many centuries away! well, i'll read your posts in more detail tomorrow.
and Allah knows best

I've attempted several times by email to let the manager know of the abuse on site.
The english side of the site is being left along to degrade and it appears that a lone voice has had no effect.
My problem is that this was once a really good site for farming news and getting other perspectives on news, thrashing the news out together and getting a far better picture of what is actually happening as opposed to what they say is happening.
Back then there wasn't the personal fighting and endless drivel over non-news related or "off topic" subjects.
Now ... and to be honest you appear to be one of them ... there are long spamming posts totally unrelated to the news item.
We've been through the stick your head in a bucket of sand and refuse to look or listen to the obvious and get worshiped for it because others didn't want to see the writing on the wall either.
We've had the deliberate lying and deception posters like sealion and we will always have them.
We've had the site destroyers and endless abusers and spammers, and they still visit from time to time but even they have seen the light and mostly left.
Very few will post alternative news comments and the news posts that are getting put up are complete bullshit because they are being butchered.
I went in a week or two back and put some right and made comments to that end but there are other editors whom work very hard but don't have what it takes to filter the bullshit out.
End story is, if you want to find alternative views on news DON'T GO TO IRAQWAR !!
If you want to read endless spamming of bullshit it's exactly what you are getting.
If someone can talk some sense into hexen the site may get the editors with the powers they need to turn this around to be a valid alternative site once again but with the two working here right now and the abuse being let through it's fucken hopeless.

RE: Fisk is correct ... no Libya the second??
May very well be correct and I've never considered Libya being the blueprint for Syria however in saying that the plan will not stop.
The powers that are working to an end are not going to stop because Russia and a few others are supporting the valid government of Syria.
All it will do is ensure the resolve is carried out in a more destructive way.
For example: Israel and the US had to try sanctions against Iran (basiclly because they made such a mess over intel in Iraq).
They would like a UN resolution but won't get that either.
So like a wounded animal they will turn more desperate and as they turn more desperate the damage will become more destructive in the end.
There is nothing more sure than a third world war ... even paying tax is not as sure as a third world war.

The Grand Alliance against Napoleon is another example of nations who previously fought against each other colluding against a common threat. The key is usually economic. The new force threatens old interests.
PS The Hadiths say 4 betrayals of the Muslims by Rome? Is the Pichot/Sykes one, the foundation of Israel another, and Syria a third?

"hat this site is degenerating into an interminable discussion on the composition of sectarian branches of Islam . Sunni versus Shia Muslims in different parts of the Arab world."
A while ago I posted about the common NON-MUSLIM origins of on the one hand groups like the Salafists/Wahhabists/Muslim Brotherhood/Al Qaeda and on the other hand Khomeini inspired Pan-Islamism or radical Shiism.
Both the founders of Salafism/Wahhabism/Muslim Brotherhood/Al Qaeda and Khomeini were in fact not real Muslims, but in fact pro-Western occultists and Freemasons.
This is a crucial fact because it explains how the Sunni-Shia conflict we witness in the present was in fact provoked and artificially maintained by western agents PRETENDING to be devout Muslims in order to DISCREDIT the whole Muslim world.

Yes I remember having read that before. I agree the hostage taking was jointly planned beforehand by both Americans and Khomeini.
Have you also noticed what the two main Middle Eastern-themed Hollywood movies at the oscars last month were about?
One movie about the Bin Laden myth, the other about the Iranian hostage crisis/Iranian revolution myth. Both are about pretend-Muslims who claim to be anti-Imperialist while in reality the biggest Imperialist agents of the West in recent times (Bin Laden and Khomeini).
Hollywood is all about propagating myths as we know.

The Russian invasion in Afghanistan and the subsequent truce between the Romans and the Muslims. The communist was the common enemy of the Christians and the Muslims and both together attacked. But the Russian Jews in USA secretly backed the soviet regime and the Europeans with e backing of the Vatican genuinely helped the Mujaheddin.
They tried to subdued the Mujaheddin as their Mercenary but the Mujaheddin were not for sell. Then they tricked/Bluffed the Mujaheddin with a false flag operation 9-11 and London 7/7 and more than 67+ countries attacked Afghanistan. The Local Shia and the Hazaras join the occupation force. This truce can be one but this is only according to my understanding.
There were many Arab Mujaheddin in Afghanistan like Osama. Osama brought huge amount of cash and construction material and made roads and other infrastructure and made the mujaheddin independent from the foreign backers. Thats why Osama became a target. Please note Bin Laden construction company made the US base in Saudi Arabia but Osama was against this policy.
Osama Bin Ladens family in Saudi Arabia is the second richest next to the King. They own anything from satellite to fashion design. His Mother is Alawite/Nusayri from the Kalb Tribe and the whole family is against the move of Osama. Osama was a practicing sunnis but initially he was with the pro Iranian resistance group specially with Ahmed Shah Masood and Gulbuddin Hekmotiar but when he found out that these entity are infact working for the Russians and also for the CIA(Same Russian Jew element in USA) he separated from these groups and later send a TV camera from a unknown TV channel to interview Ahmed shah Masood but the camera malfunctioned and Masood exploded in to pieces!
This is a good analysis on Osama Bin Laden where you will see a Photo of Richard Kerr(deputy director of CIA) with Gulbuddin Hekmotier. This analysis has some explosive information which refutes the official 911 and Osma supposedly being a CIA agent. Osama could keep CIA agen in his pocket by dozens in reality.

Be careful with branding Osama as a genuine resistance hero. The Taliban were actually in disagreement and even opposed to Al Qaeda on more than regular occasion.
The reasons to suspect Osama are many, first of all he's a shady ambiguous figure because of his family's background and he used to work for the Americans, and just because he claimed to be different from his family doesn't neccesarily mean he really WAS.
You yourself said he also worked with the pro-Iranian Hekmatyars group, and as you may know many of Osama's children were hiding in Iran. What the hell were they doing there?
Then there's the fact Al Qaeda came forth from the occultist organization known as the Muslim Brotherhood, which was in fact created by Western imperialists and not by Muslims.
Another reason to suspect Osama is the fact we never saw his dead body and never will. Why? They had no problem in showing us Gaddafi's or Saddam's desecrated corpses.
Personally I think Osama always was working for America, and he died somewhere in Pakistan, just like Benezhir Bhutto claimed two months before they killed her because they wanted her silenced.

I saw the video you posted about Bin Laden, but why would Osama admit he was behind 911 in this video:
h ttp://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qloshSGAJ1s
Despite what many saw that IS Osama in the video. And it looks like the audio is genuine too. In case the audio has been doctored at the moments in the video where only Osama speaks, well we can ask a lipreader that.
Until then it looks like Osama admitted complicity, but admitting something and actually being responsible are not always the same thing, so in itself it's no proof he organized it. Maybe his task for the CIA was only admitting it.

Osama was killed around December 2001 in Tora bora attack. One source which is from Benazir Bhutto is he was murdered by a “rogue” MI-6 operative named Omar Saeed Shaikh. Sadly, Saeed did not get to claim the $25 million bounty on Osama’s head. Instead he got framed for the mysterious murder of reporter Daniel Pearl, who may have been stumbled the truth.Let us examine Bin Laden's maternal and Paternal line
Mother Hamida al-Attas(Alia) comes from a working-class family in Syria that is largely secular. The bin Laden connection to Latakia(Syria) began in 1956.This city of 320,000 is a stronghold of the Banu Kalb a Jewish tribe identified as Alawite/Nusayri sect an offshoot of Shia that controls Syria's government and security forces.
The Bin Ladens are of Yemeni descent. Their particular lineage is the Kindi clan. Once upon a time, several groups within the Kindi clan were Jewish. When Mohammed bin Oud bin Laden came to Latakia he married Alia as his fourth and final wife. Together they had only one child, the relatives said. His name was Osama. His father founded a Saudi construction empire. Bin Ladens are 53 brothers and sisters who control a multibillion-dollar fortune.
family members of BinLaden in Syria said that as bin Laden grew from an unusually quiet, religious young man into a radical fundamentalist, his mother became worried. Whether her feelings stemmed from ideological differences with her son or fear for his safety is unclear, but family members said she tried to stop him. When Alia moved to Saudi Arabia with her husband, Every summer, from the time Osama was 1 year old Alia summered in Latakia .Osama accompanied his mother to Latakia every year until he was 17.
AlQaea was formed by the Jews/Shia/Sufi. The purpose is to defame the sunni resistance by taking responsibility of Journalist beheading ,Market bombing etc. Several Alqaeda member were captured in Palestine who turned out to be Jew. Its documented already. Then we have the Son of a Jewish Rabbi Azzam Al Amriki who is also Al-Qaeda and we have Iman Al Zawaheri(SOB) who is Muslim Brotherhood. Now it is easy for me to just trash Osama and why taking so much effort to defend him. But why should I do that if I find him a righteous person? Mullah Omer defended him and asked american administration to produce proof that he is related to 911. American Government fail to prove it and Osama were not handed over to the America. Osama was never indicted by the FBI for the 911 crime. He was not even a suspect for 911. He was wanted as a suspect of USS COAL bombing in Yemen and Embassy bombing in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania, and Nairobi, Kenya. Here is the proof from the US government webpage.
